The annual Jackpot Halibut Derby runs from May 1 to September 30. More than $180,000 in prizes is awarded in monthly cash prizes, tagged fish, and a jackpot prize. Tickets are sold at the Jackpot Halibut Derby headquarters on Homer Spit, visitor center or local charter companies.
